Senior Commodity Supplemental Food Program

The Mayfield-Graves County Needline & Food Pantry is the Graves County distribution point for this program, known as “senior commodities.” This program is for persons 60 years or older and who meet the qualifications on income, which are based all household members. 

Seniors interested can provide the household income information, MUST provide identification, and MUST be a resident of Graves County. If you or someone you know may qualify for senior commodities, bring the necessary documentation to the Needline office at 424 South Ninth Street in Mayfield, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10 a.m. and noon, and Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

These senior commodities can include fruits, vegetables, canned meats, cereals, juices, crackers, and cheese. Contact the Needline office at 270-247-6333 to learn more about the senior commodity schedule or if you have additional questions.

USDA and Community Pantry Food Assistance

These and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) offer emergency food assistance for individuals and families in need within Graves County and who are also income eligible.

Emergency Assistance

Families and individuals in crisis may seek assistance with utilities, medical appointments and prescription co-pays. Referrals are also provided, as needed, to other community support agencies and organizations.
